A historic golf course in Royan

Created in 1977, 30 years after the closure of the first golf course in Royan, the Côte de Beauté golf course is now located in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, on the Grande Côte. First composed of a 9-hole course, it was enriched with 9 additional holes in the 80's and then with a 6-hole compact course. Today, the Royan golf course is more than 40 years old. In the exceptional setting of the Coubre forest, its 18-hole course follows a naturally undulating landscape of dunes, which extends to the ocean shore. It offers a relaxing and shady setting for golfers who prefer precision to power.

Quality facilities in a privileged setting

For amateur golfers as well as for competitive golfers who are members of a golf club, the Royan golf course offers an 18-hole two-in-one course composed of two 9-holes, of which the n°14, a par 3 of 167 meters, is renowned for the breathtaking view of the ocean and the Cordouan lighthouse that it offers to players. A compact course of 6 holes (par 20 of 920 m) is also available. For training or discovery sessions, the golf course is equipped with a driving range and a putting green. At the entrance of the site, you will find a club house, a pro shop open all year round, and a restaurant open to all, open every day in summer and every day except Wednesday the rest of the year. Rates

Green fees vary, depending on the season, from 31 to 72 euros for the 18-hole course, from 20 to 48 euros for the 9-hole course, and from 21 to 32 euros for the compact course. There is a 50% discount on the green fee for those under 21 years old. For practice on the driving range, count 3.50 euros for a bucket of balls, and discounted rates for cards with several buckets. In the restaurant, the chef offers a la carte dishes starting at 11 euros, a golfer's formula at 23 euros, formulas at 32 euros and a gourmet menu at 39 euros. You can also take golf lessons at the golf school. Members have priority tickets for the Ryder Cup and the Open de France.
